Quality Control sera aid compliance with the ISO 15189 requirement for inter-laboratory comparisons and the recommendation to use third party controls on a regular basis. Many of the Quality Controls sera are multi-parametric controls which are suitable for intra and inter assay validation. They can monitor and prevent a potential drift of analytical systems and work with ELISA, DOT and multiplex technologies. Same reactivity and identical use as patient samples.
